@my previous post again: I received a message from the LittleSnitch development team: They fixed the issue in their latest build 2.0.4.386, which is already available as a download from their site.

@my previous post: I nailed the issue down to a conflict with LittleSnitch and now the question is, who screwed it up? iScrobbler pops up with an empty application name in LittleSnitch. Of course LittleSnitch can't add a rule this way and blocks all traffic from iScrobbler. I posted this to the developer of LittleSnitch as well. Maybe a case to talk about for you both? Both apps got an update around the same time, so I could not isolate the issue. iScrobbler 2.2/1723 and LittleSnitch 2.0.3 play very well together. Thanks a lot anyway. @ruckalicious: Strange, my "official app" crashes every time I start it up. Not so with iScrobbler. Please keep iScobbler running!

I'll admit it, I use the official app now. iPod scrobbling was just too inconsistent with iScrobbler.

At what percentage of a playing track is the track scrobbled? Is this adjustable in the preferences as it is with the official client?

Did it work? Did you get your iPod scrobbles on your first sync?

Great, thanks.

Yup, it scrobbles all the tracks from the week.

Hey guys, I use the last.fm client, but I'm thinking of switching to iScrobbler to get my scrobbles (I haven't synced since the problem arose). If I install iScrobbler, and then sync, will it scrobble all of my plays from this week (since the last time I synced)? Or will it only scrobble songs listened to since iScrobbler was installed? I'm running MacOS 10.5 and run the latest iTunes and last.fm client.

It works for one day, and then it won't work. I have to re-install it every day. xD

I love scrobbling my ipod. All those songs deserve recognition too! The new last.fm is certainly more efficient in this area.

Shut up you old farts. New Last.fm is miles better. Embrace change like the non-geriatric you are.
