Punch It's user interface is easy to learn as well as easy to use.

Employees are required to login using their employee numbers as well as a password, adding an extra level of security to help prevent fraudulent punching.

	The employee time card screen is your employees' one-stop interface to the system. From this one area, the employee can see their hours for the week, punch in and out, track lunch punches, output daily reports and log work time against jobs.
The Job Log area of the time card allows employees to start and stop job timers for tracking time and type of work on a job-by-job basis. Employees can be logged into multiple jobs simultaneously.

As the administrator, you have complete control over how the system works. You can add, delete and edit virtually any data in the system.

The admin area is protected by an admin password to prevent employees from altering setting and time card data.

Work types allow you to define what types of work your employees can use, with costs and billing information tied to each type. Work types can be per customer, or be assigned to be available for 'All' customers.

At any time you can look in on your jobs and see what work has been done, as well as your running costs and billing information.

Punch It includes a variety of reports such as weekly and bi-weekly payroll reporting, date range reporting and even special exporting options for use with Paychex® Payroll Services.

The perfect companion to Punch It is a barcode scanner. Barcodes allow your employees to punch in and out with a single scan of the their employee barcode ID. Punch It will work with most barcode scanners for Mac and PC.

Multi-User 'Pro' version of Punch It vs. the Single-User 'Standard' version of Punch It

The Standard version of Punch It will operate on a single computer, allowing all your employees to walk up, punch in and out, etc. The Standard version of Punch It will function with or without FileMaker Pro. FileMaker Pro is NOT required to use the standard, single computer version.

The Professional, Multi-User version of Punch It can be hosted via FileMaker to other FileMaker users on your network. Every 'client' is connecting to the host, meaning data is stored in a central location on the 'host' computer.

The Professional, Multi-User verison of Punch It requires FileMaker Pro, version 7 or higher, on each machine that will 'host' or connect as the 'client'. Please refer to the FileMaker website for more details on the features and limitations of FileMaker Pro, and FileMaker Pro Server.

NOTE: FileMaker Pro is NOT required for the Standard Version. If you do not have FileMaker, be sure to download the RT(Runtime) version, as this version has the database engine built in. In order to run Punch It on multiple computers, you must use the Professional Version, which does require FileMaker Pro, version 7 or 8.

Pricing
The Trial Version is free and is a fully functional single computer version. It has a limit of 250 punches, accomodating most users for several weeks. Please try it out prior to purchasing. When you purchase, you will be sent an unlock code that will convert your Trial Version into a fully functional Standard or Professional Version. Due to the nature of software sales over the internet, refunds cannot be given under any circumstance.

Standard Version License, $35* (single computer version)
Professional Version License, $149** (networkable, multi-computer version)

The Standard and Professional Versions include 60 days of email / help-ticket based support. After 60 days, support may be offered by Conceptualize on an hourly rate. Phone support is not available.

* The Standard single computer version does not require FileMaker, but is available in a native FileMaker version if you prefer.

** For the Professional Multi-Computer License, one computer will host the files while others running FileMaker Pro can connect. Punch It is only limited by the network limits of FileMaker Pro. Using the server version of FileMaker Pro will allow 250 computers to connect.

*** Requires FileMaker Pro 7 or 8. Files are unlocked and all scripts, field definitions and layouts are accessible. The Developer Version allows for use at a single location, to an unlimited number of users. The license does not allow you to resell Punch It in whole or in part. A separate agreement is needed to incorporate it into a solution you plan to sell.

*** The Developer Version is sold without any form of support. This is due to the fact that it is delivered unlocked and fully editable. Because of this, Conceptualize does not have exclusive control over the code once it has been delivered.
