With the simple and clear user surface you get along fast and surely. The e-mix home edition has two players with clear display inclusive wave and beat grid display, a jingle player, a recorder and a ripper. Functions such as mixers, automix, equalizer and effects are in relation to the other software-versions of e-mix rather rudimentarily available. Referring to the kernel streaming runs e-mix however most stably and permit an extremely deep latency. Over the integrated database could be simply accessed and it could be searched after the needed music file over Artist, Album, Genre or self-defined groups. Over the monitor player (pre-listening player) the selected music file can be heard directly from the database or playlist. The navigator is for a quick and comfortable usage and almost all functions can be served over it. Adjustable effects as e.g. brake effect gives to the music track the right specials. With the automix function the music title is going to be mixed automatically. Thus the self-mixed sound can be recorded; a recorder is already installed in the mixing tool. Therefore the hot sound mix could be recorded immediately or can be burned on a CD. Or did you like to save your favourite music CD in your music archive? As well as this is not a problem for e-mix home edition, with the integrated recorder you are able to convert CDs and shortly your favourite music is available as digital music file. 2 DJ media players with clearly designed displays provide the following functions:

The monitor player at your disposal allows you to preview all the tracks in the database or on the play list quickly. It is easy to operate so that it is possible to browse quickly, to listen in to numerous tracks in a short period of time and to find the one you’re searching for swiftly.

With e-mix you don’t need an external mixer because a multi-channel mixer is already integrated. Features:

Separate level indicators for previewing and for the master outbox. In this way you can individually adjust the sound level for each track.

Tracks don’t have to be stored and filed in a complicated directory structure. e-mix has an integrated database and the track archives are easily and automatically memorised. The tracks can be sorted by artist, album or genre. To find a particular track, you just have to enter a part of the text and the entire database will be searched.  Music requests can thereby be fulfilled with ease. In addition, at the end of the party, you have the same order and structures as you had at the start.

You can add tracks to a play list, which are then saved when you have finished or reloaded.  In this way you can easily copy tracks into the play list that you wish to replay in the near future. Individual play lists for different moods can easily be compiled.

Thanks to the automatic play mode, a play list will run without any breaks, without you even having to be present. This is perfect if you want to take a short break or want to attend to the bar.

In order to adjust the sound in the most optimum way, e-mix has an in-built 10-Band master equalizer, which can be switched on or off upon request. Furthermore, you can adjust the slew rate either to 6 or 12dB.

e-mix supports all common file formats such as MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG.

The beat synchrone mixing presumes short reaction times of all equipment.  E-mix includes an optimised sound engine especially for DJs for this purpose, which allows latency times of under 10msec.
