10/8/2008 Fix for Mac Users With Frame Rate Issues
Following the deployment of the Empyrean Age 1.1.2 Mac/Linux additions patch on Wednesday, October 08, 2008 it has come to our attention that some players are experiencing problems with slow frame rates on Tranquility.
The problem seems to be mainly affecting players using the Mac operating system with ATI 1600/1900 cards on OS X 10.4. More »
10/7/2008 EVE Online: Empyrean Age 1.1.2 Patch Deployment - Mac/Linux additions
The EVE Online: Empyrean Age 1.1.2 - Mac/Linux additions will be deployed this Wednesday, 08 October during the normal Tranquility downtime.
Patch Notes are available for review and the update will resolve issues affecting graphics, keyboard layouts, patching and stability amongst other things.
This patch will only affect Mac and Linux users and no additional downtime will be required. More »

Attention Fanfest attendees with a keen interest in this year's PvP Tournament! The draw has been completed, the brackets (mostly) filled, and the schedule has been posted. You can even watch an awesome video of Mindstar and Claw as they draw the names.

Amarr – In her first acts as the reigning leader of the Amarr Empire, Empress Jamyl I issued several proclamations today, the highlights of which included the confirmation of a new Sarum heir and the appointment of a new Court Chamberlain.

Amarr - Jamyl Sarum, the resurgent heir to the Sarum royal family, was today crowned Empress of the Amarr Empire. In a ceremony that began with her arrival amidst a huge assembly of Imperial Navy warships, interim Court Chamberlain Hemirin placed the sacred crown upon Her Majesty, declaring her the "Holy Ordained Empress of Creation".
