 I was already using SQLyog Community edition for a while, and thus got to see how good Webyog's support was. This is one of the major facts that made me feel safe with investing in both MONyog and SQLyog Enterprise – those products are constantly evolving, and the developers listen closely to the customers. I personally asked for some features or changes that found their way into the product extremely fast – on some occasions in less than a week!
MONyog basically just gave me exactly what I needed. Checking on the current and past state of the servers became a no-brainer. When someone asks me about a high load on a certain day – I can answer in minutes what the was condition of the database at that moment. With the new Disk Info tool, finding out where your space is wasted is as easy as it gets.
No need to use sets of custom scripts and hack all kinds of small solutions together – MONyog does it all for you, the moment you install it.  MONyog is the best out-of-the-box GUI monitoring tool for MySQL that
I have seen. It "just works." As promised, getting up and running
quickly is easy, and having a centralized location for monitoring is
very useful. The graphs are beautiful and the statistics that are
graphed are useful time-savers.
The biggest difference between MySQL's Enterprise Monitor and MONyog
is that MONyog is agentless. At Pythian, we have many clients with
differing security requirements. Requiring a daemon process to be
running is not something we currently do, and it might be a hard sell
for some clients. Even if every client was amenable to it, making sure
the daemon is up and running on each MySQL server is tedious. Note
that agentless operation works for every feature, including log
analysis as well as operating system statistics. User friendliness and security were the main concerns. Also, there is a
always a perception that foreign products / or products developed by the
MySQL company are given more preference rather than a 3rd party. But SQLyog
Enterprise proved this cliche wrong.
Earlier we were using phpMyAdmin which was web-based. So we decided to
use the SQLyog Enterprise for a year in order to understand the feature it is
providing. As we are still your customer from last 3 years, itself it
defines that we like your product. The best part of this product is that
it comes up with updated version. The SQLyog Enterprise in this year has evolved
into very competive product. Better management of database and access control.
Also with the latest version of directly exporting the data into excel.
I have tried your product for only 5-6 days before to buy it ...
its first program that I buy after less than 10-15 days (or more).
In Italy I say "like my home!" ... every time that I talk with other web-developer
I suggest to use this product (or Community version)
Some internet provider don't give me the possibilities to
remote connect at the database but I can still do that using the HTTP tunnel
