The plug-in uses, by default, the current color settings from the FG and BG. Example below shows a basic linear gradient using the two colors

The plug-in can be used on a layer. Example below shows two layers combined using a difference blending mode. Both layers using the power blend gradient effects

Many different types of gradients are included in the plug-in tool. 32 Different types of basic gradient are included creating lines / quadrant and many other types of gradient design.

The example below shows a starburst gradient type setting

The gradients also have variant gradients, turning the above starburst gradient effect into a radial / ring gradient as below

The color used, by default, is the current colors in the Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro toolbox. The plug-in can be set to reverse those colors, randomize the colors and much more. Example below using randomization of the FG and BG color

By applying a factor to each of the color channels of the generated gradient, the gradient can be darker or lighter as required (bringing out a different side of the gradient). Example below of a 'lightened' gradient

Noise or grain can be added to the gradient to remove any banding as well as created more paint like gradient effects

The plug-in combines three gradients. You can use it in single gradient mode if you wish but by combining another gradient + gradient types (such as radial and star etc) 1000s and 1000s of gradient designs can be created in second. Below is an example showing the gradient 1 and 2 blended using the gap blend mode

Example below uses the difference blending mode (within plug-in) of gradient 1 and 2 + a mixing of the two gradients. Again, literally 1000s of different gradient designs can be combined using the same blending mode.

The plug-in can be used to create smooth gradient effects but it can also be used to create more pattern like gradient designs as with the example below

The line gradients can be combined. The plug-in includes shift features to shift the center of the gradient. Using the mix / blending modes for gradient 1 and 2, the gradients can be combined and polarized in many different and exciting ways. Example below

The latest version of the plug-in also includes a third gradient. Combine the third gradient with the first two using the plug-in's blending modes. The third plug-in doesn't use the current FG and BG color settings but is grayscale gradient based on radial, quadrant, angular and many other settings. Example below shows a pyramid quarter gradient

The plug-in comes with a wide selection of 100 output blends. Instead of just outputting the effect, the effect can be generated inverted, color wrapped, as an edge effect and more. Great for overlays and frame effects. Example of overlay below

The output mode also includes options to tile the generated gradient. Useful for adding to the patterns palette in Photoshop and PSP

The plug-in can also be set into a different effect mode. Instead of just generating the effect, the effect can be used as a source for blurs, smears, sepia effects and more. The strength of the source effect can be modified. Great for paint effects and warping and distortions. Example below shows smear effect

The output options and effects modes can be combined, creating 100s of different effects without changing a single filter slider

The final output can also be modified further using either color factors or color additions. The color additions can also be randomized to create 100s of different effect and color combinations. Example below shows enhanced red

The plug-in comes with many randomization as well as jitter and juggle options to allow for maximum experimentation with the color effects in the plug-in. Example below shows a golden glow

Plug-in is great for creating quick color frames for an image. Example below shows basic square frame fill with color from the blend plug-in

The plug-in is useful combined with text selection. Fill text with plug-in generated color

If the image or text is on a layer, the plug-in can manipulate the alpha channel (in a variety of ways). The end result can be useful combined with layer effects and selections

The plug-in effect can be combined with other plug-ins in 100s of ways
Example below shows the power blend combined with the Photoshop's sponge filter

Plug-in includes randomization features. One such option is the Xtreme button. Click that and the plug-in will randomize most of its settings. Repeat click until you are happy with the end result

The plug-in set also includes an additional bonus plug-in 'Grid edge'. The plug-in is a warping / distortion machine (also good for paint like effects also). Example below shows one of its warped modes

The distortion plug-in is great for paint like effects. Example below.

Many different warping modes are included, see below for a different warp mode

The warp modes can also be combined with the effects mode (warping or otherwise) to create truly extreme warped and distorted image

Use the warp plug-in with text and layers. Great combined with custom shapes (see the many custom shapes on graphicxtras.com)

Use the power blend and the warp plug-in in combination to create a near infinite range of unique gradient designs. The gradients can be used as frames, overlays, in fashion designs, leaflets, in books, on packaging and much more. Use the designs in patterns, in brush strokes, in masks and more

The plug-in dialog is easy to work (there are not many different controls). Using the various dropdowns to combine 1000s of different effect. Example of one of the panels below

To install, simply add to the plugins path of the host application or with Vista, perhaps place in a separate plug-in folder in the user account folder and re-direct the plugin path to that (many applications allow for a secondary or multiple plug-ins path) |
