QPix: the professional choice
QPix 3 is the raster imaging plug-in of choice
of 4D developers doing professional imaging and
multimedia work. Since 1997, QPix keeps providing
more than features; it provides the quality and
dependability which 4D developers need and appreciate
in today's competitive business environment.
Powered by QuickTime, Apple's complete
technology for digital media on MacOS and Windows,
QPix is further enhanced by Escape's custom components
that integrate seamlessly with the QuickTime architecture.
QPix 3.2 is compatible with 4D 6.5 through 2004
on MacOS 9.2x/10.2x-10.4x and Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista.
Windows NT is not supported because Apple dropped
NT support
in QT6.
QPix 3.5 (bundle format, Universal Binary) is compatible with 4D 2004 and v11.2 or later on MacOS 10.4x or later and Windows XP/Vista.
Below is a partial list of QPix's amazing features. Download the distribution package for
complete examples and reusable 4D code:

document scanners with Automatic Document Feeder,
Transparency and Duplex options.
The acquisition protocols supported by QPix

Multi-page
TIFF/PDF generation
|
Combines a series of source image files or 4D pictures into a multi-page TIFF or PDF file.
