Manage Your Accounts, Privilege Sets, and Passwords
Security Administrator manages accounts, privilege sets, and passwords for your FileMaker Pro solutions by leveraging the built-in FileMaker features for scripted account management. It helps you plan and implement your security strategy with a well-conceived “matrix” interface.

Security Administrator is extremely powerful in the following scenarios:

  • Multi-File Solutions
With Security Administrator you no longer have to create or manage the same accounts in all the different files of the solution
  • Commercial Solutions
In your commercial solutions, use Security Administrator to give your end users the power to manage their own accounts and passwords.
  • Offline Development
Working with offline copies of a solution becomes much easier with Security Administrator. Replace the live files and use Security Administrator to quickly implement the correct accounts and passwords.

Simple, yet powerful.
With Security Administrator, you can work with files individually, in module subsets, and by entire solution sets. Grouping files into modules significantly cuts down on configuration labor and increases the accuracy of implementing and administering accounts.

In the Setup Phase, you organize files, accounts, and privilege sets. Then, in the Administer Phase, you just select the files and accounts and tell Security Administrator what you want to do:
  • Add Accounts
  • Delete Accounts
  • Enable Accounts
  • Disable Accounts
  • Reset Passwords
  • Change Passwords
  • Works with FileMaker Pro 8, 8.5 or 9
